Saoirse Ronan isn’t afraid of some height. The “Brooklyn” star donned Giuseppe Zanotti metallic platforms Tuesday on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

The Oscar-nominated actress has been a standout style star, too, after a number of hit red-carpet moments during awards season. In fact, Ronan was spotted in the same platform style at the BAFTA Film Awards.

During the segment, Ronan played a game of “Catchphrase” with Fallon and fellow guest Don Cheadle. She also talked to Fallon about his recent trip to Ireland, where she explained an Irish “lock-in,” where guests of the pub are invited to stay after closing time and are actually locked in the venue.

Elsewhere on the red carpet, the star has been spotted in Calvin Klein.

Giuseppe Zanotti’s Betty platform sandals are quickly becoming a red-carpet staple. The sky-high heels have a way of working well both under a long gown to give the wearer extra height and as a statement on their own.

Most recently, Saoirse Ronan was spotted on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” in the style. The “Brooklyn” star must be a fan, because she also wore them to the BAFTA Film Awards.

At the 2016 Golden Globe Awards, Kate Hudson paired her shimmering Michael Kors gown with a custom-dyed pair of Betty platforms. At the InStyle Warner Brothers Golden Globes after-party, actress Nicola Peltz wore a black pair of Betty platforms with a chic Tom Ford dress.

Lopez wore a simple turtleneck dress with statement Giuseppe Zanotti thigh-high boots that feature buckling over the entire shaft of each boot. The boots are not from Zanotti’s current season.

On Sunday night, Taylor Swift arrived at the iHeartRadio Music Awards in Los Angeles wearing a sexy sequined jumpsuit from the Saint Laurent fall ’16 collection. As she made her way down the red carpet, it was hard to ignore her patent peep-toe platforms that coordinated perfectly with the shimmery outfit.

So who is the designer behind the shoes? Giuseppe Zanotti.

Kylie Jenner Shows Off Favorite Shoes In Her Closet On Snapchat

We already know Kylie Jenner is the queen of Snapchat, and now we might just have to crown her the queen of shoes.

On Thursday, Jenner gave us a closet tour via her Snapchat to show us some of her favorite pairs and others that hold special memories.

First, she said that her “Shoe of the Day” would be a pair of leopard print Tom Ford T-strap sandals.

Instagram Photo

She showed off a few pairs of sparkly, spiky Christian Louboutin platforms that are “so Kylie 2013. I can’t get rid of them. I just can’t,” she said.

Instagram Photo

Then there was a pair of white fur Giuseppe Zanotti boots that she wore for a racy photo shoot earlier this year shot by Sasha Samsonova.

Instagram Photo

Instagram Photo

She also gave us a glimpse at her collection of thigh-high boots. They include pairs by Tom Ford and a pair by Givenchy that she said are samples and don’t really fit, but she still wears them.

Instagram Photo

Of course, there was also a plug for the Kendall + Kylie shoe line — she snapped a pair of the caged knee-high sandals.

Instagram Photo

There was also a pair of white satin Giuseppe Zanetti sandals, which Jenner explained were custom-made for sister Kim Kardashian’s wedding and that each of the bridesmaids wore the same pair.

Instagram Photo

“Who doesn’t love dope Gucci heels?” she asked her followers and showed off two sleek black pairs by the brand.

Instagram Photo

She even has a section of her closet dedicated to sparkly heels by designers including Christian Louboutin and Stuart Weitzman.

It’s obvious Jenner has a pretty impressive collection. We’re hoping the next time she goes on an envy-inducing shoe shopping spree we’ll get to live vicariously through her Snapchat videos.

Carrie Underwood: From ‘American Idol’ Winner To Glamorous Country Star

On the series finale of “American Idol” on Thursday night, things came full circle for country star Carrie Underwood. The cowboy boots-wearing girl who won the show in 2005 was certainly not the same person who belted out her hits onstage during the final show.

Carrie Underwood Shoe Style

The year after she won “American Idol,” Carrie Underwood returned to make an appearance wearing a floral-embellished dress and heels with a bow detail.

Underwood hit the red carpet in a sexy, sheer Yanina Couture dress and Rene Caovilla heels. When she took to the stage, she wore a Monique Lhuillier gown with sparkly cut-out sandals, as well as a miniskirt-and-shirt ensemble with gladiator-style sandals. It’s clear that Underwood has become incredibly confident when it comes to her fashion choices.

Despite her questionable fashion choices during the mid-2000s (we all had them, right?), Underwood has always been something of a shoe lover. At the 2007 American Music Awards, Underwood donned a pair of Rene Caovilla’s Snake Seduction wrap sandals.

Through the years we’ve seen her rock styles by Giuseppe Zanotti, Jimmy Choo, Stuart Weitzman and others.

At the 2014 Billboard Music Awards, Underwood wore a Jill Stuart gown with Zanotti sandals adorned with a gold crocodile.

If you fancy yourself a sneaker collector, the luxury market will have a number of swoon-worthy styles to pick from next season. From bigwigs such as Christian Louboutin and Jimmy Choo, to more emerging brands such as Palm Angels and No. 21, men’s sneakers for fall ’16 are focused on luxe materials and playful detailing.

While none are available yet, it’s smart to begin planning next season’s purchases — in-demand sneakers are often the first thing to sell out, and yes, even the ones that cost upward of $1,000.

Top fashion houses continued to ramp up their sneaker offering. Louis Vuitton reworked its iconic monogram print in a sporty low-top style. Givenchy tapped the velvet trend in a orangey red high-top. Balmain used its signature quilting on a leather high-top with gold hardware.

Saint Laurent, whose sneaker business is booming, debuted playful motifs like glitter palm trees. Laurence Dacade’s first men’s collection offered a strong sneaker start via its rainbow suede treatment.

Even classic footwear brands infiltrated the sneaker scene. Berluti introduced a textural wool high-top, while Santoni went with fur lining and mixed leather combos.

It includes seven bar buckle sneakers developed in a range of materials, such as napa, velvet, as well as laminated and snakeskin printed leather, embellished with metallic details and crystals. “I’m very enthusiastic about this new venture,” Zanotti said. “Challenges are vital for me and stimulate my creativity. In the past, I have designed children’s shoes for my clients and celebrities such as Beyoncé, Kanye West, Kim Kardashian and Karolina Kurkova. Their children were some of my first little fans. Delighted with the growing popularity of these styles, I thought it was the right time to create a range for little fashionistas and I loved translating my designs into a first junior collection.”

You’ve probably already chosen your favorite looks from the Met Gala red carpet on Monday night, but what about footwear? Many of the attendees’ gowns concealed their shoes of choice, but we did some digging to find out what Kylie Jenner, Poppy Delevingne, Rita Ora and other stars wore on their feet.

Ora wore a sweeping Vera Wang silver-feathered number that completely covered her shoes. The British singer opted for a pair of Stuart Weitzman Nudist platform sandals for some extra height.

Brit Stars Reflect On Shoe Traditions At BritWeek’s 10th Anniversary Gala

There are certain British cultural rites of passage that cannot be avoided — including the footwear.

“If you’re British, you wore Clarks as a child and you got measured for them — let’s keep it real!” explains British actress/TV personality Liz Fuller at the BritWeek 10th anniversary reception and gala on Sunday at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel in Santa Monica, Calif.

The annual charity benefit united British stars and anglophiles in a celebration of British contributions to the arts.

amy willerton britweek

Amy Willerton.

Amy Willerton, a former Miss Universe Great Britain, also remembers having “Clarks shoe fittings” when she was younger, but the beauty queen recalls an embarrassing moment in heels more vividly.

“My first catwalk — when I was 15 — one of my shoes fell off at the very end of the runway,” she explains.

At the event, Willerton complemented her striking gold jumpsuit by British designer Julia Clancy with a pair of simple New Look pumps.

“The jumpsuit was so loud, so I wanted to keep it simple,” she says.

Willerton praises another Brit’s style — Princess Charlotte, Prince William and Kate Middleton’s 1-year-old daughter.

“Kate has been criticized in the press for dressing [Charlotte] in similar outfits, but Kate goes very classic with what she dresses [her children Prince George and Princess Charlotte] in and they both look adorable,” said Willerton. “It’s nice to see such a normal upbringing with the kids.”

carlton gebbia

Carlton Gebbia.

Echoing Fuller and Willerton’s early memories of donning chunky footwear, former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Carlton Gebbia recalls wearing the shoes as a young girl.

“When I was living in Wales, I had to wear these awful bulky, black shoes,” she shares. “They were desperately oversized Mary Janes — and it wasn’t when it was in fashion. I might be in therapy now.”

Though the theme of the evening was unmistakably British, she has no loyalty when it comes to her footwear, preferring Giuseppe Zanotti sandal heels rather than a British brand. “I’m not faithful to my shoes,” she admits. “I love Louboutin and have a really favorite pair of YSLs.”

British actress Victoria Summer recalls wearing booties when she was a youngster. “My mom — or my nana— used to knit for me,” she adds. For the fete, the “Saving Mr. Banks” star had on a Rhea Costa dress and Loriblu heels.

On her footwear style, she says high heels are “an absolute must.”

“At least four inches,” she adds, “You can only dance in six-inch heels — that’s the only way.”

In Buckingham Palace’s kitchen, only traditional footwear will do, says Darren McGrady, former chef to the royal family who served BritWeek guests desserts the late Princess Diana enjoyed at the palace — bread pudding and chocolate cake.

McGrady says he has a no-nonsense policy of observing British royal dress codes from head to toe.

“I come from Buckingham Palace for 11 years — I’m a traditional chef,” he explains. “I cannot wear Crocs in the kitchen or out of the kitchen or ever,” he says.

McGrady adds, “I believe you should never trust anyone who wears Crocs,” jokingly referring to chef Mario Batali, who dons bright orange Crocs and colorful clothes while cooking.

The flashy attire, McGrady says, wouldn’t cut it at the palace.

“In the royal kitchens, you wear black pants with white coats,” he explains. “You do not wear anything with red hot chili peppers on whatsoever. It’s traditional white with black pants, very classy. Shoes are just comfortable work shoes.”

For British actor Jimmy Akingbola, his fashion choices are a matter of following traditional British silhouettes — not brands or labels.

“When I’m out here and I put something on, I want to connect to who I am,” he says.

The actor had on shoes from Michael Ferrera and a bespoke three-piece suit. “They’re both American [designers], but they have this British style of putting clothes together,” he explains.

So what does he think Americans get wrong when it comes to fashion?

“Trainers,” he says, “You guys call them sneakers. They’re too big. Too loud. Too messy. I like the classic style. Everything is a bit big — a bit Kanye. I like the classic look. If I want to hold it down and not do shoes I might wear white Converse — you can wear them with a suit.”

Paying a tribute to groovy ’60s British style, Richard Halpern, “the fake Austin Powers,” channeled the Mike Myers’ character wearing Chelsea Hi-Shine boots by retro designer Beatwear.

“These are Beatles boots — directly from the U.K., brand new from Liverpool with a Cuban heel,” Halpern shares. On his shagadelic outfit, recalling its origins is a bit of an international mystery for him. “Somewhere there’s a Ramada Inn missing a bedspread,” he explains.

Haters be damned, Erika Girardi loves white heels — or “hooker shoes,” as she affectionately refers to them on social media.

“I’m really fascinated by a white pumps — I know they are trashy,” the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star admits to Footwear News. “It’s so wrong, it’s right.”

The singer wrapped her season six debut on the Bravo reality series on Monday and will be channeling her onstage alter ego Erika Jayne on several forthcoming concert dates.

When Girardi becomes Jayne, she hits the stage in customized thigh-high boots from cobbler-to-the-stars Andre No. 1, the shoemaker responsible for the late Prince’s heels and KISS’ boots, among other boldface name entertainers.

When she’s not behind the mic, Girardi prefers to wear heels from Christian Louboutin and Giuseppe Zanotti. “I like really, really high heels,” she says. “Shoes change a woman’s silhouette and finish the look. When I’m not working or being crazy, I wear sneakers — Nikes or Adidas.”

Here, the admitted “shoe addict” who estimates she has “north of 300 pairs of shoes” shares with FN her favorite shoe styles.

Footwear News: What is your favorite pair of shoes?
Erika Girardi: “My white Louboutin So Kates. I’m really fascinated by a white pumps – I know they are trashy. I look at certain pairs and they make me feel like a certain character. It’s so wrong, it’s right.”

FN: How did you determine the design of your closet?
EJ: My interior designer Joan Behnke and I decided on a sexy opium den, red-themed dressing room-closet. Kind of Shanghai-inspired and moody-moody. I traveled all over Asia, so that was it.

FN: What’s the trick to staying comfortable in heels all day?
EJ: “Shoes are not meant to be comfortable, especially the ones I wear. You’re going to be a woman or a mouse. RuPaul said, ‘Flats are for quitters,’ and I tend to agree.”

FN: Describe your shoe style for concert performances.
EJ: “I have a show for gay pride and the costuming is Erika Jayne — over the top. My footwear is black patent over-the-knee boots for the show. Every now and then I break my boots. I like to be covered over the knee because I get kicked by the [dancers]. It also creates a beautiful line along the leg.”

Instagram Photo

FN: What’s your earliest shoe memory?
EJ: “It was during the ‘Saturday Night Fever’ craze and my mom would take disco lessons with my father. She had these wrap dresses and they had these tall shoes — they were thick, chunky in the ‘70s, and I remember getting into the closet putting them on and standing in thinking I could never stand in them. I was 7 or 8 when I put on real pumps. I’m 44, almost 45 now.

FN: What’s the priciest footwear in your closet?
EG: “Some of my Louboutins are around $5,000.”

FN: What boutiques do you frequent?
EG: I get a lot of them online. Sportie LA is good for sneakers.
